TJ’s Story: A Mission Born from Love and Loss

On July 20, 2022, my six-year-old grandson, TJ, drowned in an Olympic-size pool during a summer camp in Missouri. It was a preventable tragedy that became a national news story — and a criminal case.

In the days that followed, I created a website for my daughter — not just as a tribute to her son, but as a platform for advocacy, truth, and safety reform.

TJ's Story: Designed and developed a mission-driven website for a nonprofit advocating summer camp safety.

  1. Created a compelling brand identity to amplify awareness and drive action.
    I partnered with TJs Story, a nonprofit organization in St. Louis dedicated to advocating for stricter summer camp safety regulations in memory of TJ, a beloved six-year-old. My goal was to create a compelling Squarespace website that honors TJ's legacy and inspires action toward safer summer camps for children.
